PayPal Honey makes Amazon shopping easier by comparing sellers for you. It factors in shipping costs and your Prime status to provide you with the best options. Furthermore, it offers tracking and price history tools to increase your saving opportunities.
For those who prefer shopping on mobile devices, PayPal Honey is also accessible on iPhone and iPad. It is worth noting, however, that cash redemption requires a PayPal account in good standing, and terms and exclusions apply. Lastly, by using the PayPal Honey browser extension, you agree to Honey’s terms and conditions.

Installation and Setup
Adding PayPal Honey to your browser is a breeze. It's easily found on the Chrome Web Store and can be installed in a matter of seconds. Search for "PayPal Honey" in the store, click on the "Add to Chrome" button, and the extension will be added to your browser. The process is straightforward and hassle-free, even for those who may not be very tech-savvy.
Notable Settings
Once installed, you'll notice several settings that are worth mentioning. PayPal Honey will automatically look for and apply digital coupons and promo codes to your cart, ensuring you get the best deals available. You can also enable the "Droplist" feature to track the price of specific items. Honey will send you an email if it detects a price drop, so you won't miss any good deals.
Compatibility
Beyond being a browser extension for Chrome, PayPal Honey is also available on mobile platforms. This means you can access it on your iPhone and iPad, making it a handy tool for shopping on the go. However, it's worth noting that to redeem cash back, you'll need an account with PayPal in good standing. So, whether you're on a desktop or mobile device, PayPal Honey has got you covered.
Functionality and Ease of Use
Aside from the installation and setup process, using PayPal Honey is quite straightforward. It works on over 30,000 sites and helps you find great deals on some of your favorite brands. Plus, you can earn Cash Back at your favorite stores and on must-have items at various retailers like Finish Line, Lowe's, Macy's, Sephora, Udemy, and more.

One of the standout features of PayPal Honey is its tracking and price history tools. These allow you to easily compare Amazon sellers, even factoring in shipping costs and your Prime status. It gives you more opportunities to save and ensures you're always getting the best possible deal.
Privacy and Security
As for privacy and security, PayPal Honey uses Google Analytics to collect extension usage statistics. This helps improve user experience, but if you'd rather opt out of this tracking, you can do so by visiting Google's opt-out page or by setting up a filter in an ad blocker tool such as Adblock Plus, AdBlock, uBlock, or Adblock Pro.
With PayPal Honey, you can rest assured that you're not only getting the best deals but also saving time and money in the process. It's an invaluable tool for any online shopper, and I highly recommend giving it a try.

The Chrome extension PayPal Honey: Automatic Coupons & Cash Back is a piece of software that promises to take the hassle out of online shopping. With an impressive user base of over 17 million members, this extension is said to save its members an average of $126 per year. But what do users really think about this shopping tool? After delving into the user reviews, it's clear that experiences with the Honey extension are mixed.
A Quick Look at the Pros: Savings, Simplicity and Variety
Among the positive reviews, users seem to appreciate the convenience and potential savings that come with using Honey. The functionality of automatically searching for the best coupons is a hit among these users. As one satisfied customer, Jeanette Gratton, puts it: "Love Honey, automatically searches for best coupon and if can't find saving you earn Honey Gold, which once reached 1300 gold can be traded in for a £10 voucher, whats not to love".
The breadth of online stores Honey supports is also a plus. With the ability to find deals on over 30,000 sites, users have reported finding discounts and earning cash back from a wide range of popular brands.
But There Are Also Some Cons...
Despite the positive feedback, Honey extension is not without its flaws. Many users have reported issues with the cash back feature, stating that their purchases often go untracked, and rewards are not accurately reported. User Robert Robinson comments: "Even when activating the cash back rewards, my purchases never seem to show up on my account. More than half of my purchases go unreported to Honey and I don't get my rewards."
Many users also complain about the intrusive nature of the extension, with some finding the constant pop-ups annoying. User Er K writes: "great useful app, but how do I turn this POS off from popping down from the menu bar every time I go anywhere on any website. like please, I'll come to you when I need it, stop popping down".
Another common criticism is the switch to Paypal rewards, which some users see as a downgrade from the previous gift card options. User Mandi Twining states: "It was great, until they switched to Paypal rewards. Now I'm considering removing the plug in because there is no benefit".
A Balanced Perspective
Taking all user experiences into account, it's clear that the Honey extension has its strengths and weaknesses. The convenience and potential savings are significant advantages, but issues with the cash back feature and intrusive pop-ups are clear areas for improvement. Whether the Honey extension is right for you may depend on your shopping habits, and your tolerance for the occasional technical hiccup.
As always, we encourage shoppers to do their own research and consider multiple user reviews when making a decision about whether to use a particular tool or service.
When looking at similar browser extensions, PayPal Honey's competitors include DealFinder by VoucherCodes, and Cently: Automatic Coupons + Cashback for Free. However, it's important to note that each of these tools offers unique features that set them apart.
PayPal Honey vs. DealFinder by VoucherCodes
DealFinder by VoucherCodes is a tool that hunts for the best discount codes and rewards available when you shop online. Similar to PayPal Honey, this extension also aims to save consumers money by automatically applying voucher codes at checkout. However, PayPal Honey offers additional features such as cash back rewards and price tracking which give it an edge over DealFinder.
PayPal Honey vs. Cently: Automatic Coupons + Cashback for Free
Cently is a strong competitor, offering an array of features quite similar to those of PayPal Honey, including automatic coupon application, cash back, and price comparison. The two extensions seem to be quite comparable in terms of benefits for online shoppers. The deciding factor may come down to personal preference or loyalty to a particular brand.
In conclusion, while all these extensions offer unique features and benefits, PayPal Honey stands out due to its combination of money-saving features, including automatic application of digital coupons and promo codes, cash back rewards, and price tracking. This makes it a comprehensive shopping tool suitable for avid online shoppers looking to save money and earn rewards.
Conclusion
Summarizing the Strengths and Weaknesses
The PayPal Honey Chrome extension stands as a highly beneficial tool for avid online shoppers. It offers an easy-to-use platform that automatically searches for the best deals, promos, and discounts across over 30,000 sites, potentially saving shoppers an average of $126 per year. Its Cash Back feature is yet another advantage, providing users the chance to earn rewards on purchases at popular stores such as Macy's, Sephora, and Lowe's. The Droplist tool is a handy feature for price tracking, alerting users of price drops on their favorite items.
The extension also lets users compare Amazon sellers with ease, taking into account shipping costs and Prime status. The availability of Honey on iPhone and iPad broadens its accessibility and convenience.
However, the extension's reliance on PayPal for cash redemption might limit its utility for users who don't have an active PayPal account. It's also worth noting that the extension uses Google Analytics for data collection, which some users might prefer to opt out of for privacy reasons.
Verdict: Is PayPal Honey Worth Trying?
Given its extensive range of benefits, including automatic coupon application, cash back rewards, price tracking, and easy seller comparison, the PayPal Honey Chrome extension is indeed worth trying for any online shopper seeking to optimize their savings. While the need for a PayPal account to redeem cash rewards could be a potential drawback for some, most users will likely find the overall advantages to outweigh this minor issue.

For the best experience with the PayPal Honey extension, it's recommended to regularly check your Droplist for any price drop notifications and to shop from the extension's list of supported stores. 30 Reviews For This Extension
It was an amazing app in Canada a few years ago. Now, all the great gift card options like Amazon are gone.
Robert Robinson is 100% right i used it for a lot of things and only rewarded with about a 3rd of my cash back
great useful app, but how do I turn this POS off from popping down from the menu bar every time I go anywhere on any website. like please, I'll come to you when I need it, stop popping down
it doesn't seem to want to work half of the time. Even when activating the cash back rewards, my purchases never seem to show up on my account. More than half of my purchases go unreported to Honey and I don't get my rewards. I have even gone as saving the receipts as pdf files and sending them to Honey and no one will even acknowledge my emails.
its magic!
amazing, whoever invented honey i love u frfr
I have been using Honey for years. It was great, until they switched to Paypal rewards. Now I'm considering removing the plug in because there is no benefit. I still like the price tracking option, but I rarely find any savings or coupons that save me money or give me rewards since they switched.
Codes don't work and/or are expired! No way to report dead codes! Pointless extension and I'm removing it asap!
BRUH why do you annoy me all the time but then the one time i need you u give me zero code!!!! @honey make it make sense
Honey is really good. it can find discounts but it won't work for ebay when i tryed it. Don't worry it's not malware.
Honey shows up at check out, finds me coupons for items I am purchasing. I find it helpful, as it it helping me save money.
Sometimes helpful, frequently inaccurate, pop ups getting in my way on amazon annoying as hell!
Doesn't work!!
Love Honey, automatically searches for best coupon and if can't find saving you earn Honey Gold, which once reached 1300 gold can be traded in for a £10 voucher, whats not to love.
it works you just need to use it correctly. I get cash back on my paypal and I can add it to my account.
just bought a keyboard, and with 2 clicks i saved 7$ easy and quick, there's no way people don't use this
Have never gotten any discount, had it for two years. Only gives me gold coins that i don't even know what to do with.
It does not work!!!
Garbage doesn't work nor does the terrible login system
Accumulated gold will not be redeemed... I have accumulated gold and can't redeem it and haven't been able to for over a year. Worst customer service, no answer to emails or the chat.
Stopped working on Chrome as of 1/31/2024.
Won't turn on at all for me. Absolute garbage extension.
Rewards is a scam, you can't cash out earnings and if you redeem to a gift card it fails and they blame it on your browser cache.
dosent work most of the time
Added this extension to get "cash rewards" from PayPal being I use Paypal numerous times a day. Have not received a single amount added to the account after numerous purchases over many days since adding the extension. Has managed to completely clog up and slow down my browsing experience though. Would be somewhat OK with that IF I were getting the cash back that was promised but once again a complete SCAM to get user info for their marketing B.S. Don't fall for it like I did.
Rewards just don't seem to track. One star for being a slightly faster way to find discount codes (even if 90% don't work)
I am so happy to have found this app, I get a little more off my purchases which all helps in this day and age, yeah!!!
doesnt work dont waste your time
helps
paid work isa very important
